Tour itinerary

Day 01 Bagdogra – Gangtok

Assistance at the airport on arrival and drive to Gangtok. GANGTOK in situated an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by
Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight.

Day 02 Gangtok

Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that Lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s water. You will also visit New Baba Mandir.
Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 03 Gangtok – Lachen

Drive from Gangtok to Lachen. En-route visit Mangan , Singik and Maltim ( 07 hours drive)
Note: Above mention points are covered, subjected the vehicle take the normal route.
This sightseeing point are included on complimentary basis & in case of diversions these points will be missed. As sometime the normal route is closed for maintenance work.

Day 04 Lachen - Lachung

Morning drive to Lachung enroute visting Gurudongmar Lake Morning excursion to Gurudongmar Lake , Chopta Valley and Thangu Valley. After excursion drive to Lachung.

Day 05 Lachung – Gangtok

Visit Yumthang Valley, and then head back to Gangtok After breakfast, you will head towards Yumthang Valley, which is also well-known as the Valley of Flowers. You will reach the valley from Lachung in around an hour. On the way, you will be crossing the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, which boasts of more than 120 species of rhododendron trees. Do note, skip this spot during winters, when the entire valley remains hidden beneath the blanket of white snow. While returning from this valley, you can check out the famous hot spring that is known for its medicinal properties. Then, head towards Gangtok after having your lunch. It will be around a 6 hours’ journey, and the change of scenery on the way to Gangtok, will just mesmerize you to say the least.

Day 06 Gangtok – Bagdogra – Delhi

After breakfast drive to Bagdogra airport( 05 hours drive) to board flight to Delhi.
